Normandy Volunteer Training will be taking place on October 1st, 2022 from 9am-3pm with check in starting at 8:45am. We will have an hour lunch break from 12pm-1pm with lunch being provided courtesy of Normandy! The training is taking place at Zion Christian Fellowship (10405 Sawmill Rd.)
This training is for anyone who wants to work with the women in the Turning Point Home. If you have an interest in coming in to cook, do a class, be a coach, mentor or interact with the women in any capacity you are required to go through this training! If you are interested in Normandy and the Turning Point Home but aren’t sure where to get started this is the event for you!
The training will cover a multitude of things from being a trauma informed volunteer, mental health first aid, healthy boundaries and persuasive questions, and so much more!
