JOIN ZION’S NEXT MANDATE…
There has been an ongoing cry in our communities to have a safe place for women and children who have been victims of domestic violence, and we feel a draw from the Lord to meet this need. Just like our last Normandy Project (normandyproject.org), with the Lord’s help, we want to fill that void for those who are in need and bring God’s infectious goodness and healing to people, our cities, and communities.
So, for our next Normandy Project, we will house the Women & Children of Domestic Violence. We are calling the internal house, “The Strong Tower”.
What does this mean for you? How can you help? We are looking for volunteers who feel a pull from Holy Spirit to help us plan out our next steps. We will need your minds to help us FORM and work out all the DETAILS for what is needed, from LEGAL stand points to practical; we need help gathering information and putting in a step by step process. We want your help on this committee to make God’s dream manifest on the earth.
Isaiah 61:4 has been Normandy’s theme scripture – to see the broken, not only restored and made whole, but now they will be the ones THRIVING and rebuilding the walls for future generations. They will be the ones contributing to society and God’s Kingdom expansion for his glory.
“…to console the mourners in Zion—to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. 4) They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.” Isaiah 61:3-4
