“Seeing Through the Lens of Christmas”

God gave us a brain and He wants us to use it. But there is a cutoff point where logic and reason are not going to help you in the realm of the Spirit. God uses prophecy, visions, dreams, and angelic encounters to sneak past our natural mindset that is over-reliant on logic and reason. Logic will talk you out of things that revelation will talk you into.

Recognizing God’s Voice

God’s voice will always sound like Him.  He doesn’t do celebrity impersonations of the devil with shame, condemnation, fear, hopelessness.  We will look at what God says about Himself to know for sure when He is speaking.

Lacking in Nothing

The whole point of a trial is to give you something, not take something away from you.  It is to advance you;  that is why you should be joyful.  Every trial that comes to you comes to the Jesus in you.  We can face trials in a New Covenant way!  God cannot use you greatly until you have been tested deeply.

What is God Like?

Listen to the story of the Prodigal Sons through the eyes of a first century hearer.  Jesus tells the story of two sons,  both of whom misunderstood what their dad was really like.  Encounter the relentless love of God in this message and live in light of this love.  

Has God Said?

One of the favorite tactics of the enemy is to get you to question what God said. We would never doubt God¹s word, but we often wonder, “Was that really His word for me?” Nobody can protect the Word of the Lord to you except for you. This is a season to get out those prophetic words and promises and treasure them and keep them before you.

Meet the Living Word in the Written Word

You don’t have to read the Bible. You get to. The purpose of the Bible is to encounter the Author. But, how can I tell if God is speaking to me through the Bible? What do I do with it once He speaks?
