To whom it may concern at Zion Christian Fellowship,
Hello my name is Shirley Pound and I am a 3rd year Ministry School student at Charis Bible College and I am an intern for the Healing Discipleship Program. The reason I am reaching out is in regards to the Normandy Project. I spoke with Pastor Jim when he came a few weeks ago to speak at our Healing Discipleship Program and Healing Now. He had shared about the project. After speaking with him about what y’all are doing, I can see that it lines up with what God is asking of me.
In a brief summary God has asked me to open up Sojourner’s Haven which will be a safe haven for women who have been victims of human trafficking. With that in mind, I was wondering if I could come for the month of July and serve your ministry so that I can learn what I don’t know and gain experience in what God has called me to do. I know that I would need to be vetted and submit references, get background check and whatever else you would need. I am willing to submit to any requirements that you have in place.
